Our client was looking to ambitously raise the bar for their products both in terms of speed to market and the level of commercial insight. Through initial brainstorming sessions, we settled on the creation of two prototypes that would not only serve as the launchpad for new products but also showcase the benefits of adopting a more agile way of working and applying the latest techniques from data science. Through iterative development and interactive workshops we were able to navigate diverse stakeholder viewpoints to deliver both prototypes on time and within budget.
The first prototype was an interative dashboard, built as a Web-app in Python, to allow airlines to break down and visualize their profitability by route. The second prototype used unsupervised learning techniques to reveal hidden structure in underlying customer data.
